How to make Turkish Salad
This is from a semi-family recipe
This is a cold salad with varaiations through out the mediterian
Serves 3 to 6
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil - if you can find Turkish Olive Oil please use, if not any olive oil should work
- 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tablespoon salt
- 1/2 tablespoon pepper
- 1/2 tablespoon peparika
- 1 cup raw cabadge
- 1 cup of carrots
- 1 cup of cellary
- 1 cup of brocolli
- 1 head of lettuce
- 1/2 medium onion, peeled and finely chopped
- 1 cup raw chopped and semi-peeled cucumber
- 1/2 cup raw parsley or cilantro
In a large bowel mix all of the vegetables together
Add salt, pepper, peparika, olive oil, and lemon juice and toss salad
